American International School – Accra (AIS) is an independent international school offering an American curriculum with AP and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Serving students from age 2 to 18, AIS also provides a boarding facility for students aged 13 and older. The high school awards an American High School diploma by the Carnegie Unit system, with many courses offered at honors or AP levels. AIS is a registered SAT exam center and AP Center, and offers SAT/PSAT preparation along with a dual-credit option through the SevenStar Online Program. The campus includes a main building and a boarding house, with a 1:1 student‑to‑device ratio and access to Follett Destiny Library and JSTOR via ManageBac.
