- Online application fee: USD 200 payable at time of submission. Payment may be made by debit card, credit card, wire transfer, online payment systems, or in person at the Business Office if paying from Ghana.
- Registration fee for new students (one-time, non‑refundable):
- Pre‑Kindergarten 1 and 2: USD 2,500 on entry (an additional USD 7,500 becomes due when the student advances to Kindergarten).
- Kindergarten through Grade 12: USD 10,000.
- Parents registering more than two children receive a 50% registration discount after the second child.

Per‑semester (term) amounts — method of presentation

- The school bills on a two‑semester schedule. First Semester fees (including full Maintenance Fee) become due on June 3, 2026; Second Semester fees become due by October 2, 2026. Where per‑semester figures are required, the standard interpretation below shows each semester payment as one half of the annual tuition (annual tuition ÷ 2) unless an alternative installment plan has been agreed with the Business Office. The semester due dates and currency/payment rules are listed below.

- Example per‑semester amounts (calculated as half of the 2026/2027 annual tuition figures above):
- Pre‑K 1 & 2: USD 8,492.50 per semester (USD 16,985 ÷ 2).
- Kindergarten: USD 11,626 per semester (USD 23,252 ÷ 2).
- Grades 1–5: USD 12,500.50 per semester (USD 25,001 ÷ 2).
- Grades 6–8: USD 13,339 per semester (USD 26,678 ÷ 2).
- Grades 9–10: USD 14,133 per semester (USD 28,266 ÷ 2).
- Grades 11–12: USD 14,794.50 per semester (USD 29,589 ÷ 2).

Maintenance, Reservation & Returning‑student fees

- Maintenance fee: USD 2,000 per student per annum (billed to all students).
- Reservation fee for returning students: non‑refundable USD 500 payable by March 1 prior to re‑enrollment; this USD 500 is credited against the tuition invoice.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Semester due dates (example for 2026/27): First Semester fees (including full Maintenance Fee) due on June 3, 2026; Second Semester fees due by October 2, 2026. Tuition is quoted in US Dollars for foreign nationals; payments may be made in US Dollars or Ghana Cedi at a rate advised by the Business Office and based on the Bank of Ghana reference rate. The school does not accept cash for tuition payments.
- Accepted payment methods for tuition and annual fees: checks, direct deposit, and wire transfers into the School's accounts. Wire transfer instructions should include the student's name so payments can be matched; any transfer/collection charges are passed on to the payer. Returned checks incur a penalty of USD 100. The school requires proof of payment (deposit slip or transfer authorization) for receipt issuance.
- Application fee payment methods (distinct from tuition): the online application fee (USD 200) may be paid by debit/credit card, wire transfer, online payment systems, or in person at the Business Office (if in Ghana).

Late payment penalties & exclusion for non‑payment

- Overdue fees attract interest of 2% per month on each semester's outstanding balance. Students may be excluded from classes if overdue amounts are not settled, unless a separate negotiated arrangement is in place. Returned check penalty: USD 100. Transfer/collection charges for bank payments are passed on.

Late entry / pro‑rata rules

- Application, Registration, and Maintenance fees are payable in full for late entry students.
- Students enrolling within 60 calendar days of the school year start are generally charged the full annual tuition. Different pro‑rata calculations apply depending on the timing of enrolment (e.g., 1/180th of the annual tuition per day for very late second‑semester entry, 50% of annual tuition for certain mid‑year entry windows). Specific late‑entry rules and formulas are applied according to the school's published schedule.

Refunds for withdrawals

- Refunds require written notification at least 10 days before the student's last day of attendance and follow the Board Policy refund schedule:
- Withdrawal within the first 30 calendar days of the first semester: refund of 80% of annual tuition.
- Withdrawal after 30 up to 60 calendar days of the first semester: refund of 50% of annual tuition.
- Withdrawal after 60 days of the first semester or before 30 calendar days after the start of the second semester: refund of 25% of annual tuition.
- Withdrawal within the last 60 calendar days of the school year: refund of 10% of annual tuition.
- For refund calculations, “annual tuition” refers to tuition only; no refunds are available for Application, Maintenance, Registration, Reservation, or bus fees. No refunds are available in cases of temporary school closure due to evacuation by a diplomatic mission, business, or force majeure.

Exam fees and other excluded costs

- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma examination fees are billed separately when they become due; these are not included in tuition and vary by student depending on subject choices.
- Other costs not included in tuition and billed separately include:
- Field trips (including trips outside Ghana).
- Sports uniforms and replacement house T‑shirts.
- Printed yearbooks.
- Any other optional activities or materials that are specifically quoted separately.

Boarding

- Lincoln Community School operates as a day school; boarding facilities are not applicable.

Lincoln Community School is an IB World School and non‑profit international school located in Abelemkpe, Accra, Ghana.
