Athens College, founded in 1925, occupies a 150-acre campus in the Psychico suburb of Athens. The school operates within the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation and provides education from kindergarten through grade 12. Students follow the Greek National Curriculum, with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme available in the final two years of secondary education. Facilities include Benaki Hall, the Capps-Middleton Athletics Center with an Olympic-size swimming pool, and the "Invention Center" for design and technology projects. The school maintains a "Forensics" society that focuses on public speaking and competitive debate in English. Another key feature is the "Social Responsibility" program, where students engage in service projects and environmental initiatives. Instruction is delivered primarily in Greek, complemented by intensive English language courses. The campus offers extensive athletic grounds and a forested area, providing a natural setting for daily activities within the city’s residential limits.
