Model UN runs weekly with active participation. Debaters take part in local and international tournaments, including ICYD, and past Campion pupils have been selected for the World Schools Debate Team of Greece. Forensics and debate develop public speaking and critical thinking, with an annual Forensics speech and drama tournament held in the spring. Campion also hosts its own annual MUN event.
Music is a vital part of education and runs from Nursery up to Year 9, with IGCSE and IB options available later. Peripatetic teachers provide one-to-one lessons, and ABRSM exams are held in school twice a year. Orchestras and choirs meet regularly for major Christmas and spring concerts, and the Senior School Music and Drama departments collaborate to produce a musical each year. Recent graduates have gained places at leading conservatoires and universities.
The Greek Dancing group 'Kouroi & Kores' is an integral part of the extra-curricular activities, with lessons open to pupils from Year 3 through Year 13 and culminating in the Annual Greek Dancing Evening. Greek Dancing features at major school events such as Graduation, MUN conferences and International Day. Dancers have represented the school in charity events and performances in Greece and abroad. Campion also runs Model UN, with weekly sessions and participation in local MUN tournaments.
Houses divide Campion into four communities: Alexander, Theseus, Heracles and Pericles. Each House runs a range of activities and competitions (Maths, Arts, PE games, Music, Sports Day, Cross-Country), and pupils earn House Points for performance in class and extracurricular activities. Senior Clubs include Drama and other after‑school activities; Drama is taught in the Senior School and culminates in musicals with after-school rehearsals. Model UN and Forensics provide additional after-school activities that foster teamwork and communication.
The PRC is Campion's active parents' support group; it organises events and raises funds to support the school. It donates to charities and initiatives and funds equipment such as 3D printers, an electronic scoreboard and Duke of Edinburgh equipment. Members can volunteer time and contribute ideas, with committees leading various initiatives.
CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is an essential component of the IB Diploma Programme at Campion. Students participate in a wide variety of CAS activities and projects, organised with CAS advisors and supervised by adults. Examples include a Year 12 CAS trip to Epidavros/Spetses, Race for the Cure, CS MUN and the TEDx Athens Conference, as well as projects such as Unbound, Liberty Dog Run, inter-house chess, Mission Anthropos, Gloioblastoma project, YEM project and Soup Kitchen. All activities require approval from a CAS advisor and an adult supervisor.
Senior Extra-Curricular PE is offered at all levels with a broad sports programme including soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, rugby, track and field, cross-country and swimming. Senior teams hold practices after school and compete in local and international events, including the World School Games and COBIS games. Sports activities run from 3:45pm to 4:45pm, and a late bus is available for the Senior School. Drama and musical productions also contribute to well-being through performance opportunities.
