The school was founded in 1995 on private facilities on the southeastern slopes of Mount Hymettus. Access is easy via Vouliagmenis Avenue and Poseidonos Avenue or via Attiki Odos (Koropi exit). The campus sits on a 65,000 square meter plot and is evenly distributed into teaching rooms, science laboratories, a library, sports facilities, and dining services, plus a dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone and parking for cars, school buses and private vehicles. The surrounding natural beauty and care for the aesthetics of teaching and learning spaces support balanced intellectual and moral development.

Extracurricular Programs cover a broad range of activities beyond the standard timetable. The Music School offers classical and contemporary programs, instrument tuition (piano, organ, classical and electric guitar, violin, accordion, flute), music theory (solfège), Orff-based education, Byzantine chant, and performance opportunities. Ballet and Modern Dance courses are available, with Royal Academy of Dance pathways; theatre groups, choirs and orchestras, and a photography club are also offered. Chess, robotics, ceramics and other arts and crafts workshops provide creative outlets, while language study options include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Arabic and Russian. Extended day and after-school enrichment, nutrition and wellness programs, and a variety of sports clubs complete the extracurricular offering.
Geitonas School, also known as Costeas-Geitonas School (CGS), is a private school in Greece serving students from age 3 to 18. The curriculum combines the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with a bespoke Greek offering, including the Greek General Lyceum, enabling pupils to pursue an IB pathway alongside national options. The IB DP follows six subject groups: Studies in Language and Literature; Language Acquisition; Individuals and Societies; Sciences; Mathematics; and The Arts, with the core elements Theory of Knowledge, Creativity, Activity, and Service, and the Extended Essay.
