Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
We create a functional and stimulating learning environment, and the core of our approach is the active and meaningful involvement of the student in acquiring new knowledge. Children have regular opportunities to interact with the natural and social environment, freely choose activities, explore and discover. In spacious, well-organized classrooms, learning occurs in groups to highlight the value of teamwork and joint discovery. By leveraging group dynamics, students learn to collaborate harmoniously, socialize, develop critical thinking, and cultivate the capacity for reflection.
Lampiri provides support for learners with special educational needs in the IB Diploma Programme. Inclusion is defined as an ongoing process to increase access and engagement by identifying and removing barriers. Support for SEN includes curriculum modification, enrichment activities, classroom accommodations, small-group instruction, and one-on-one support; pull-out services are provided when needed to meet academic, social, or behavioral needs. Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are written for students identified for special education services, are confidential, and are revised annually. All students with an IEP follow the same curriculum as peers, with modifications to content or assessment where required. When necessary, Lampiri engages outside professionals such as educational psychologists or speech and language therapists, with parents covering the costs. Confidentiality is maintained; student files are kept in a locked area and information is shared only with staff who need to know.
Additional English language classes are provided.
Lampiri is committed to a safe and supportive learning environment in which students with special educational needs thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The school recognises mental health as part of overall learning and supports social and emotional development through inclusive teaching and appropriate assessment practices. When needed, outside professionals such as educational psychologists or other specialists may be engaged to support learning and wellbeing, with costs borne by families as applicable. Individualized plans (IEPs) guide targeted support and are reviewed annually, and confidentiality is protected with shared information limited to those who need to know. The school emphasizes collaboration among teachers, the IB coordinator, and families to promote student wellbeing.
Lampiri provides a safe and supportive learning environment. Confidentiality is safeguarded; student records are stored securely and information is shared only with staff who need to know. Parents/guardians are essential partners in safeguarding and are kept informed about welfare matters. When needed, the school may engage external professionals to support student welfare. Safeguarding arrangements are integrated with the school's inclusive approach to education and with the needs of IB Diploma Programme students to ensure a secure and supportive learning experience.
