Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
The school uses the National Curriculum of England & Wales as its guiding framework, augmented by the International Curriculum Association's IEYC, IPC, and IMYC curricula. Greek language lessons are provided daily, and the Greek Language Curriculum is followed by local language teachers; Greek language study is part of the daily program, with an optional after-school class. An English Language Learner (ELL) program supports students who do not have grade-level English proficiency, with either integration into the classroom under ELL support or a pull-out ELL class. Students who master Greek have the opportunity to take part in Greek Language Proficiency Exams.
Verita International School in Athens provides an international education for ages 2 to 18. Verita follows the National Curriculum for England & Wales with progression from early years through IGCSE and A-Levels. The Primary School delivers the National Curriculum through the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), with Greek language and second languages including French, and Social Emotional Ethical Learning integrated across the curriculum. The school blends IEYC/IPC/IMYC through Fieldwork Education to create interdisciplinary units, supported by Emory University's Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning program. Literacy and numeracy are enhanced by Literary Tree reading and White Rose Maths, with English Language Learner support and a broad arts and sports program. The Secondary School extends to IMYC in Years 7–9, IGCSEs in Years 10–11, and A-Levels in Years 12–13, with internships and career exploration opportunities. The newly opened Secondary Campus offers science laboratories, art and design studios, professional-level sports facilities, educational excursions, and opportunities for family participation in school events.
