Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Part of APDE (Asociación para el Desarrollo Educativo), founded in 1970 by parents who wanted schools offering academic excellence alongside the values being taught at home. APDE has grown to eight schools sharing the same educational project. Solalto became an authorized IB World School in 2006.

Community

Close-knit community of boys and their families within the APDE network. The all-boys model allows for teaching methods specifically adapted to how boys learn. Catholic values and community service foster a sense of solidarity.

Parent-Teacher Association

APDE was founded by parents, and family involvement remains central to the school's philosophy. Parents are actively engaged in the educational project.
