The campus is a modern, well-equipped learning environment. It includes a 25-meter indoor swimming pool, a Green Roof used as a living classroom, and a 200-meter running track. There are two full-sized gyms and a 2,000-square-metre soccer pitch. Nine dining outlets service hot meals throughout the day, and the campus houses two laboratories and four art studios and workshops. The on-site library contains about 100,000 books and the campus is minutes from Kowloon Tong MTR Station.
There is a 25-meter indoor swimming pool on campus. There are two full-sized gyms and a 200-meter running track. The soccer pitch is 2,000 square metres. The facilities support a broad sports program with PDHPE from Reception to Year 12 and opportunities to compete locally and internationally. An extensive range of extra-curricular sport includes AFL (Auskick), athletics, aquathon, basketball, cricket, cross country, netball, rugby, soccer, swimming, touch rugby, volleyball and mini ball games.
Two laboratories support science teaching. There are four art studios and workshops, a CAD/CAM suite with laser cutters and 3D printers, and an IT suite with a makerspace. A specialist library and collaboration room support research and study, along with a dedicated food technology classroom. The school teaches the Australian Curriculum and provides NSW HSC or the International Baccalaureate Diploma as senior pathways.
The school offers over 80 varied Extra Curricular Activities. Most ECAs are on-campus and coordinated by AISHK staff and external vendors. ECAs span sports, arts and technology, and service learning. Activity Week and Camps are part of the ECA program. The ECAs are designed to promote achievement, teamwork and friendships.
Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK) is a Reception (age 4) to Year 12 co-educational day school in Kowloon Tong, a few minutes’ walk from Kowloon Tong MTR. The school teaches the Australian curriculum and, in Senior Years, offers a choice of NSW Higher School Certificate or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Facilities include a 25 m indoor pool, two full-sized gyms, a 200 m running track, a green roof used for learning, a soccer pitch and nine laboratories. Primary students study daily Mandarin in streamed classes; secondary language pathways include Chinese and French with HSC/IB options. AISHK runs over 80 extra-curricular activities spanning sport, performing arts, visual design, STEM and community initiatives. A signature element is PROSPER, an evidence-based wellbeing framework embedded across homeroom check-ins, buddy/peer programmes, and weekly wellbeing lessons. Approximately 1,200 students learn in classes averaging 24 students, with a school bus network serving families across Hong Kong.
