Application Fees
A non-refundable HK$ 2,800 application fee is required for each new applicant.
Enrollment Deposit
When accepting a school place at an ESF primary or secondary school, a two-month deposit (based on the grade’s tuition) must be paid. One half of this deposit offsets the first month’s tuition; the other half is applied to the final month’s tuition if at least two calendar months’ written withdrawal notice is given and no outstanding balance exists.
Tuition Fees (Per Year)
For Years 1–6 (Primary / PYP) in 2025/26, the annual tuition is HK$ 139,000.
School fees are billed in 10 monthly instalments of HK$ 13,900 via autopay (direct debit).
Additional Fees
A one-time Non-Refundable Capital Levy (NCL) is charged when a student first enters ESF. For Year 1, this is HK$ 38,000, and it reduces on a sliding scale for entry in later years (e.g. Year 2: HK$36,000; Year 6: HK$28,000).
Extra costs for uniforms, meals, textbooks, co-curricular activities, trips, and transport are not included in tuition and are billed separately.
Transportation Fees
The daily school bus service is provided by an external bus company; route-based fees apply and are invoiced directly. The amount depends on the route and distance.
Refund Policy
The application fee is non-refundable.
The deposit’s first half is used toward first-month tuition; the second half is refunded or offsetting the last month, provided two months’ notice is given and there are no outstanding balances.
The Non-Refundable Capital Levy (NCL) is not refundable or transferable under any circumstances.
Payment Options
Tuition and deposit payments are made via mandated direct debit (autopay / bank transfer); other payment methods (e.g. credit card, cheque) are not generally accepted for school fees.
