Application Fees
Applications for Glenealy School are handled centrally through the English Schools Foundation (ESF). A non-refundable application fee of HKD 2,000 is payable at the time of online submission. Once an offer is made, parents must pay a refundable deposit equivalent to one month’s tuition and a non-refundable capital levy (HKD 38,000 for the first child, HKD 19,000 for each subsequent child). These confirm acceptance of a school place.
Tuition Fees (Per Year)
For the 2025/26 academic year, tuition fees are:
Years 1 – 6: HKD 139,000 per year (subject to EDB approval).
Fees are billed in 10 monthly instalments, typically from August to May, and must be paid in advance of each month’s tuition.
Additional Fees
Families are responsible for costs such as school uniforms, transport, canteen meals, and extra-curricular activities. Participation in optional enrichment or after-school programmes may incur separate fees.
Transportation Fees
A dedicated school bus service is operated by Kwoon Chung Motors Company (KCM). Routes and fares vary by area and are arranged directly with KCM. Seatbelts are mandatory, and buses are supervised by attendants.
Refund Policy
The deposit is refundable upon withdrawal, provided written notice of one full term is given. Other fees, such as the application fee and capital levy, are non-refundable.

All fees are billed and managed by ESF’s central finance office. Payments can be made via bank transfer, cheque, or autopay.
ESF Glenealy School is a co-educational primary school in Mid-Levels on Hong Kong Island, serving Years 1–6 (ages 5–11).
