Kennedy School follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) for students in Years 1–6, covering ages 5 to 11. The curriculum integrates key subject areas, including language, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, and physical education, through an inquiry-based approach. Students explore six transdisciplinary themes designed to connect learning across disciplines and encourage critical thinking. Specialist teachers provide instruction in physical education, music, and Mandarin as part of the core programme. Assessment focuses on concept understanding, skills, and attitudes rather than examinations. The PYP framework provides a foundation for progression to the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) at ESF secondary schools.
