The campus is a purpose-built residential community in Wu Kai Sha, Ma On Shan, adjacent to Starfish Bay and overlooking Tolo Harbour. It comprises four residential blocks for students and staff and an academic block for classes and laboratories. The campus includes a lower level with indoor and outdoor facilities for gatherings and sports, an on-site canteen, a library and a drama room, and spaces for study and creative work. The site is within a five-minute walk of Wu Kai Sha MTR Station. A Spiritual Center and a Medical Room support student wellbeing, and Tolo Harbour and Starfish Bay are nearby for fieldwork and outdoor activities.
The school has outdoor basketball and tennis courts open for use from morning until 10pm. A multi-purpose indoor sports hall can be converted for badminton, volleyball, football or basketball and serves sports, performances and gatherings. An outdoor pool is available for use by students and staff during operating hours and for CAS activities. Additional facilities include squash courts, a dance studio, a gym and an outdoor climbing wall.
An Academic Block houses classrooms and laboratories and provides interactive and digitally equipped spaces to support learning in language and literature, individual and societies and mathematics. Science laboratories support biology, chemistry and physics as well as environmental science / geography classes. The library and a drama room support study and performing arts, while an art room offers space for visual arts projects.
Quan Cai (全才) programme examples include Dragon & Lion Dance, Project Week service trips, China Week service trips to mainland China, and Coral Monitoring in support of WWF, among other activities.
Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong is a two-year IB Diploma residential college opened in 1992. The Wu Kai Sha campus sits next to Ma On Shan Country Park, beside Starfish Bay and Tolo Harbour, and is a short walk from Wu Kai Sha MTR. Classes are small (12–18 students), and the school community numbers about +250 students. Instruction is in English, with languages offered including Chinese, English, Spanish and French. Learning extends beyond classrooms through Quan Cai (CAS) with China Week, Project Week and weekly activities; recent initiatives include WWF Hong Kong collaborations such as coral monitoring. Students pursue the IB DP exclusively, with results and updates reported by the school. The college is co-educational and 100% residential.
