Malvern College Hong Kong has a seven-storey, 26,000-square-metre campus located at 3 Fo Chun Road, Pak Shek Kok, New Territories, Hong Kong. The campus is adjacent to the Hong Kong Science Park and near the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong, and it houses the primary and secondary school with academic, sporting and recreational spaces. It is designed with environmental principles to enhance natural ventilation, light penetration and shading, contributing to a low-carbon footprint. In 2020 the campus was awarded the Quality Building Award (QBA) in the Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building – Government, Institution or Community) category for the high standard of its building and facilities. Blended learning spaces and modern technology support teaching, learning and sustainability across the campus.
The campus includes a roof-top sky-pitch (AstroTurf 4th generation with a shock-absorption pad) for football and rugby, with lighting designed to minimise disturbance to neighbours. There is an indoor heated swimming pool with six lanes and 25 metres, and an indoor multi-purpose sports hall with full-sized basketball, badminton and volleyball courts and cricket lanes. Physical education is an integral part of the core curriculum, and a wide range of sports is offered within the co-curricular programme.
All classrooms are equipped with interactive projectors, audio systems and acoustic ceilings. The campus has seven science laboratories with different configurations and four-sided fume cupboards to support tutorials and practical work. The open-plan library is centrally located and designed as the school's hub, welcoming collaboration, study and exploration. Blended learning is supported by well-equipped learning spaces, makerspaces and modern teaching technologies.
Malvern College Hong Kong offers a rich and innovative co-curricular programme that values CCAs as integral to developing the whole child. The programme includes sports and fitness activities such as badminton, football, rugby, cricket, swimming, netball and running; music and performance activities including ballet, choir, drama and orchestra; culture, community and current affairs such as Model United Nations and language-related activities; arts and crafts including Maker Space, pottery and textiles; and Games and Brains activities like coding, robotics and chess. Additional language and literature CCAs cover subjects from Chinese enrichment to French and Spanish for beginners to English for academia. Malvern College Hong Kong is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme for ages 5 to 18. The campus sits in Pak Shek Kok by Tolo Harbour, close to Hong Kong Science Park and major universities, and includes seven science laboratories, a 480-seat auditorium, an indoor pool, and a rooftop skypitch. The school runs an English-medium curriculum, with mandatory daily Chinese (Mandarin, simplified) and options to study a third language such as French, Spanish or Japanese. A distinctive feature is its Forest-Beach School, providing regular outdoor learning for younger pupils.
