Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Initial Enquiry and Visit
Families begin by submitting an enquiry through the Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong website. Prospective parents may book an in-person or virtual tour to learn about the curriculum, facilities, and admissions procedures. The admissions team provides information tailored to the student’s year group and the availability of places.
2. Online Application
Parents complete the online application form and upload the required documents, including previous school reports, passport or ID copies, and a recent photo. A non-refundable application fee is payable upon submission for the Secondary Campus (Kwun Tong). Applications are accepted year-round, depending on seat availability.
3. Assessment and Interview
After the application review, students may be invited to complete an academic assessment and/or interview, which varies depending on the year group. Assessments evaluate academic readiness and English proficiency. For overseas applicants, virtual assessments and online interviews are available.
4. Review and Offer
The admissions team and senior leadership review the application, assessment results, and supporting documents. Successful applicants receive an Offer of Place, along with an invoice for the Capital Enrolment Fee, which must be paid to confirm enrolment. Offers are valid for a limited time and may be subject to available spaces.
5. Enrolment and Payment
Upon acceptance, families must return the signed enrolment documents and pay the Capital Enrolment Fee. Monthly tuition fees are then billed via Direct Debit or bank transfer, starting from the student’s first month of attendance.
The school notes that it receives more applications than available places each year. When year groups reach capacity, qualified applicants are placed on a waitlist. Admission from the waitlist is based on seat availability and other criteria outlined by the admissions office. The school does not operate a formal “pool system.”
The school does not publicly disclose any scholarship or financial aid programmes on its website.
