Quarry Bay School

Quarry Bay School is situated on Braemar Hill on Hong Kong Island, within a quiet residential area of North Point. QBS offers primary education from Year 1 through Year 6, catering for children approximately aged 5 to 11. It focuses on the first stage of international schooling (primary level) rather than secondary education.

Application Fees
A non-refundable application fee of HKD 2,800 is required for each new applicant. Upon receiving an offer, families must pay a one-time non-refundable capital levy of HKD 38,000 for each new student entering Year 1. This levy contributes to school development and facility improvements across the ESF network.

Tuition Fees (Per Year)
For the 2025/26 academic year, annual tuition for Quarry Bay School (Years 1–6) is HKD 139,000.
Fees are typically billed in 10 equal monthly instalments from August to May each school year. Each instalment is due on the first working day of the month.

Additional Fees
Families should expect separate charges for school uniforms, meals, extracurricular activities, and field trips. Learning support services such as Speech and Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy—if required—are parent-funded.

Transportation Fees
A school bus service is available to and from major residential areas on Hong Kong Island, managed by an external provider authorised by ESF. Bus fees vary by route distance and are invoiced directly by the transport contractor on a term or monthly basis.

Learning Support
If students require specialised assistance beyond the school’s standard inclusion support, parents may arrange additional private services, such as a one-to-one Learning Support Assistant or therapist, in coordination with the school’s Inclusion Department (“The Hive”).

Sibling Discount
ESF offers a 10% discount on tuition fees for the third child and any subsequent siblings concurrently enrolled in ESF schools.

Refund Policy
All tuition fees are non-refundable once the term begins. The capital levy and application fee are also non-refundable under any circumstances. Refunds are provided only if a student withdraws before the start of the term and meets the school’s notice period conditions.

Payment Options
Payments can be made via bank autopay, bank transfer, or cheque, following ESF’s billing instructions. Credit card payments may be available through ESF’s online payment portal.
