Preparatory Years & Primary Section is located at 23 Nam Long Shan Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. The Nam Long Shan Campus sits alongside the Secondary Campus and is linked by a bridge, forming a unified campus environment. The campus occupies a gross floor area of 15,792 square metres and serves students from Preparatory Years through Primary. The Nam Long Shan Campus Extension adds flexible spaces including Music/Seminar Rooms, Learning Support Rooms, a Multi-Purpose Room, a lift, and Conference Rooms, with the Bookshop relocated to P5 as part of the extension. A Bookshop and a Canteen operate on the Nam Long Shan Campus to support daily life on site.
The Nam Long Shan Campus provides a campus library to support learning. A Makerspace is available on the Nam Long Shan Campus. The Nam Long Shan Campus Extension includes Learning Support Rooms for literacy, numeracy and inclusive education, as well as Music/Seminar Rooms and a Multi-Purpose Room. The Bookshop on P5 supports on-site reading and resource needs, and the Canteen serves daily meals and snacks.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are offered across Clubs and Societies, Performing and Visual Arts, Sports and Uniformed Groups, with examples including Accelerated English, Spanish and French Clubs, English Debate, Chinese Culture activities, Chess, and STEM/Robotics. Immersion programmes are available, such as the Singapore Holiday Immersion Programme (SHIP) held annually during summer holidays and the Taiwan Immersion Programme for P6 students.
Singapore International School (Hong Kong)’s Preparatory Years and Primary Campus is located at 23 Nam Long Shan Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong, and serves students from the two-year Preparatory Years programme through to Primary 6. The Preparatory Years curriculum is fully bilingual (English & Chinese/Putonghua with simplified characters) and supports a class-size of approximately 22 students in PY1 and PY2. In Primary, the school follows the Singapore curriculum adapted to the HKSAR context and emphasises subject disciplines, thinking and communication skills, and character development built around the values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Integrity, Care and Harmony (3RICH). Campus facilities include classrooms, makerspaces, a swimming pool, outdoor playgrounds and specialised studios for art, music and drama. The Nam Long Shan campus is linked via a bridge to the Secondary section, providing continuity for families seeking through-train education.
