Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Application Submission
Applications are submitted online through the school’s admissions portal during the annual application period. Parents must complete the electronic application form and upload supporting documents, including recent school reports, a student photo, and proof of identity. An application fee is charged at submission (non-refundable).
2. Entrance Assessment and Interview
Shortlisted applicants are invited to attend written assessments and an interview. The assessment evaluates English, Chinese, and Mathematics, while the interview assesses communication skills, personal interests, and suitability for SPCC’s bilingual and holistic learning environment.
3. Review and Selection
Admission decisions are made based on a combination of academic performance, interview results, conduct, and participation in extracurricular or community activities. The school gives preference to students who demonstrate good character and leadership potential.
4. Offer and Acceptance
Successful applicants receive a formal offer from the College. Parents are required to confirm acceptance by the specified deadline and pay the first instalment of tuition.
SPCC does not publicly state the use of a waitlist or pool system for admissions.
SPCC offers Entrance Scholarships to outstanding new students entering Form 1 and Academic and Talent Scholarships for continuing students in higher forms. Awards are based on exceptional performance in academics, music, sports, leadership, or service. Recipients are selected through internal review by the Scholarship Committee and may have their awards renewed annually if performance and conduct remain satisfactory. The school also provides Financial Assistance Schemes for families in need, determined by household income and assets.
