The Co-Curricular Activities Program (CCA) provides Foundation Year to Grade 5 students with after-school activities held on weekdays. The program promotes social skills, creativity, critical thinking, and study skills, while supporting students' interests and talents. As students mature, they focus on one or two areas to pursue excellence outside the classroom. Examples include Engineering and Robotics, Math Team (Chinese), English Creative Writing, and the ISF Music Academy.
Arts and creative activities are offered through CCAs and music programs. Primary CCAs include Art and Craft, Beginners Band, Choir, Drama, Ceramics, and ISF Music Academy, among others, with additional offerings such as Honor Orchestra and Chinese Performing Troupe. The program supports creativity, performance opportunities, and collaboration beyond the core curriculum.
Language-focused activities support bilingual learning, with Cantonese, Chinese Language, Chinese Choral Speaking, Chinese Dance, Chinese Gu Zheng, Chinese Performing Troupe, and Chinese Zhuyin among the offerings. The school emphasizes equal representation of both languages and cultures in assemblies and activities as part of its bilingual immersion approach.
Social and recreational CCAs include Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Netball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Squash, Swimming, Gymnastics, and Outdoor Exploration. Additional options include Chess, Go, Recitation Team, and other interest-based groups to develop social skills and personal interests.
Leadership and professional development are supported through activities such as Entrepreneurship and leadership training, with opportunities for students to develop character, leadership, and professional skills.
The program promotes fitness and wellbeing through Athletics and a broad range of sports (Football, Badminton, Basketball, Netball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Squash, Swimming, Gymnastics) and outdoor activities such as the Outdoor Exploration Society.
The ISF Academy is a nonprofit, co-educational independent school in Pokfulam, Hong Kong, offering bilingual immersion in Putonghua and English. Secondary students follow the International Baccalaureate MYP (G6–10) and DP (G11–12); Primary uses the school’s own program. The campus has housed both Primary and Secondary since 2007. Language instruction shifts toward more English in the upper years (for example, G6 ~70% English / 30% Chinese; G9 ~80% English / 20% Chinese). Typical classes are small (≤20 in Primary; <22 in Secondary). Co-curricular options are extensive, from Engineering & Robotics and Math Team to Choir, Ceramics, Drama, and sports such as Swimming and Wushu. ISF is accredited by the Association for Experiential Education, reflecting a strong emphasis on experiential learning alongside programs like the Hong Kong Explorer Award. Daily school buses are provided via Kwoon Chung Bus Co.
