English and Chinese (Putonghua) are core languages across the programmes. In the Primary Years Programme, there is dual-language immersion with two teachers (Mandarin and English). In the Middle Years Programme, English Language and Literature and Chinese Language and Literature are taught, with Chinese Additional Language and a third language option. In the Diploma Programme, students take two or three languages, typically including English and Chinese, with potential study of French or Spanish.
