AISB occupies a single campus on 16 hectares on the northern outskirts of Budapest. The Middle/High School building houses more than 50 classrooms, a library, a cafeteria, a design technology suite, a double-sized gymnasium, a single-size gymnasium, a 25-meter swimming pool, a 350-seat theatre, and performing and visual arts facilities. The Elementary building has more than 25 classrooms, a library, a cafeteria, EPIC and STEAM rooms, a double-size gymnasium and performing and visual arts facilities. On the grounds there are two soccer fields, an athletics track with lights, four lighted tennis courts and a basketball court.

AISB has a strong Student Support Program and a Service Learning Program, and students engage in extracurricular activities supported by arts and athletic facilities on the campus.
American International School of Budapest (AISB) offers an American Curriculum with IB Diploma and pathway for students aged 3–18. English is the language of instruction, with World Languages part of the curriculum. The high school program follows an American model in an international context, offering a range of courses . Students graduate with the AISB High School Diploma, the IB Diploma, or a combination such as AISB Diploma + IB Diploma or AISB Diploma + Innovation Diploma. Established in 1973 by the U.S. Embassy, AISB serves a globally diverse student body and provides the Global Impact Diploma and a Dual Diploma (GID + IB). The 16-hectare campus houses Middle/High and Elementary buildings, libraries, theatres, a design technology suite, and arts facilities, plus two gyms, a 25m pool, a theatre, and playing fields. Co-curriculars include MUN, debate, robotics, and Celebrations of the Arts.
