Facilities Overview

The campus sits on a hillside with views of the Buda Hills and tranquil natural surroundings. BISB serves ages 3–18 with life-changing experiences and academic excellence delivered in state-of-the-art facilities for sport, performing arts, and learning. EdTech is central to learning, with robotics, 3D printers, and the latest technology integrated into lessons. An Early Years Centre provides outdoor spaces, an organic garden, and Forest School. A theatre and music production studio, ICT and science suites support high-tech learning, and a library with more than 25,000 books backs research. Sports facilities include a full-sized all-weather pitch, indoor and outdoor courts, gyms, a climbing wall, and spaces for outdoor recreation.

Sports Facilities

A full-sized all-weather pitch, indoor and outdoor sports courts, gyms, and a climbing wall support athletic development. An Astroturf pitch provides additional outdoor training space. Recreational clubs include fitness, football, basketball, dance, gymnastics, yoga, and Aikido, complemented by wellbeing toolkit sessions. BISB Wolves teams compete locally, nationally, and internationally, with regular training. Students participate in Nord Anglia European Sport Association tournaments, Danube Valley Athletics Conference events across Europe, and the Budapest Cup.

Academic Facilities

Science labs and ICT suites are equipped with the latest EdTech, including robotics and 3D printers. A state-of-the-art theatre and a music production studio provide space for performing arts. A library stocked with more than 25,000 books, audiobooks, newspapers, and magazines supports research and reading. A light-filled Visual Arts Centre enables drawing, painting, and sculpture, while an Early Years Centre and Forest School support outdoor learning. Technology enhances learning through iPads, digital microscopes, cameras, and projectors, with Global Campus enabling global collaboration.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Competitive and recreational sports, music, performance, languages, and STEAM form BISB's co-curricular programme. In physical recreation, students train in purpose-built facilities, take part in friendly competitions, and join clubs including fitness, football, basketball, dance, gymnastics, yoga, and Aikido, with wellbeing toolkit sessions. BISB Wolves teams compete locally, nationally, and internationally and participate in Nord Anglia European Sport Association tournaments, Danube Valley Athletics Conference events, and the Budapest Cup. Performing arts are delivered through a collaboration with The Juilliard School, with opportunities to audition for productions, join orchestra, and participate in stage or vocal clubs. The STEAM programme features MIT-guided challenges, robotics, 3D printing, Ritangle, Lego robotics, digital media and design, and gaming clubs; languages and culture programmes include Hungarian for beginners and language clubs, plus cultural walks. Global expeditions to Tanzania, Switzerland, and New York, along with residential trips and local excursions, broaden students' horizons.
