Adamas International School is spread over 5 acres of a very green, neat and eco friendly environment. The campus operates a DAY-BOARDING facility with a full running kitchen serving almost 2000 day boarders daily, and the dining hall is air-conditioned. The entire campus is lit with CFL tubes and bulbs as part of eco-friendly initiatives. Eco-friendly projects include a British Council carbon dioxide campaign called BREATHE AGAIN, a GO GREEN campaign, and Plantation Day. The school has won the BEST GREEN SCHOOL AWARD at BOSCO UTSAV (Don Bosco, Liluaah) for its initiatives in 2013.
Airy and spacious classrooms, a Computer Centre, Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories, an Audiovisual Centre and a library are on campus. The teacher-student ratio is 1:30. The focal point of the school is to hone students as professionals and help them develop a superior state of mind. Social campaigns such as environment protection, overall cleanliness and community care are undertaken from time to time.
Adamas International School participated in the British Council International School Awards in 2012-13 and 2015-16 with seven projects. Partner schools include Burnside Primary School (UK), Alderman Richard Hallam Primary School (UK), Skydra High (Greece), Kampala High School (Uganda), Masseked/ Lebabon High School (Lebanon), El Orun English School (Egypt) and a collaboration with the Japanese Consulate in Kolkata. Go Green and Breathe Again involved classes 6 and 7 in environmental campaigns and won the Best Green School award at Bosco Utsav and an Honour Certificate at TTIS School Awards. The Cambridge Admission Testing Centre conducts 21 international examinations such as AMESAA, ECAA, HAA, MLAT, MAT, TSA, and more. A British Council grant supported a teacher exchange with a UK partner school in 2013-14.
