The school offers Beyond Academics clubs such as Innovation, Master Chef, Editorial, Biodiversity, Stand‑up comedy, Digital Citizenship, Animal Rights, and Model United Nations. CANMUN is Candor's annual student‑led Model United Nations conference, providing a platform for public speaking, diplomacy, and collaborative problem solving. The Cambridge IGCSE and IB programmes are complemented by events like Science Mela and Math Fair and by JAM sessions that provide public‑speaking exposure.
Arts are integrated through specialist subjects in Music, Visual Arts, Dance, Drama, and Robotics. The school hosts musicals, flash mobs, theme‑based assemblies, and other performances that showcase student creativity. Students engage in creative writing and drama activities as part of Beyond Academics.
English is the medium of instruction across the school. The Language Policy supports multilingualism, offering English, French, Hindi, Kannada, and Spanish across PYP, Cambridge, and IB programmes; ESL is provided, and mother tongue languages are encouraged. Language learning is integrated across the curriculum, with emphasis on developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills and the use of multiple languages in school life.
Students participate in a broad range of sports including basketball, badminton, cricket, swimming, and football. Reading Corner provides a dedicated space for books and quiet reading during breaks, and students organise other interest‑based activities and social events throughout the year. Cultural events and community activities foster social engagement and hobby development.
CAS experiences include a Jaipur Trip with a day of community service at a government school, teaching and painting classrooms; a solar lantern workshop at Barefoot College; and pottery and block printing workshops at the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design. Donation drives and other service projects are organized through student leadership and CAS reflections. These activities emphasize real‑world impact and collaborative teamwork.
Hoops for All is a student‑led service initiative promoting social inclusion through basketball. CANMUN is Candor's annual student‑hosted Model United Nations conference, developing leadership and organizational skills. CAS experiences and student‑led projects build leadership, communication, and project management abilities that prepare students for higher education and professional life.
Well‑being is central to Candor's approach, focusing on physical and mental health, active engagement in academics and social activities, and a safe, inclusive environment. The Positive Education Enhanced Curriculum (PEEC) covers mindfulness, resilience, relationships, and growth mindset. Onsite nursing, counselling, learning support, and inclusion and child protection policies support student wellbeing.
Candor International School is a co-educational international campus located on a 25-acre green estate in Begur-Koppa Road, Bengaluru, near Electronic City, Karnataka 560083. The school serves ages 3 to 18 and operates a two-curriculum model, offering the IB program (PYP for Pre-K to Grade 5, MYP for Grades 6–8, and DP for Grades 11–12) alongside Cambridge curricula (IGCSE for Grades 9–10 and AS/A Levels for Grades 11–12). An on-campus residential facility provides weekly and regular boarding for Grades 5–12.
