Residential Life provides well-furnished, spacious boarding facilities on the campus. The Head of Residence has ultimate responsibility for welfare, with House Parents assisting to ensure welfare, social, academic and emotional support. The boarding environment is designed to be a home away from home and to promote safe, respectful conduct and co-curricular development.
Regular Uniform includes navy blue trousers with side and hip pockets, a white short-sleeve shirt, a navy blue Zodiac tie, formal black shoes, and white calf-length socks. Winter wear includes a navy blue V-neck sweater or hoodie for Early Years to Year 2; a navy blue blazer with the school logo for Years 3 to DP2; with a white full-sleeve shirt (the rest as regular). Turban/headgear must be navy blue for Sikh students. Sports dress consists of a white collared T-shirt with the CI logo and navy blue track pants with the CI logo (no stripes). Early Years attire is comfortable and casual; clothing should be neat, presentable, and allow ease of movement.
Nutritious meals are prepared on site in the cafeteria; the menu is designed to meet high nutritional standards and accommodate dietary preferences; the dining hall is well-lit, clean, and maintained with strict hygiene standards.
The school uses a four-house system: Agni, Vayu, Prithvi, Jal. Students from PYP 1 onward are assigned to a house; the system fosters a sense of belonging, teamwork and healthy competition, with inter-house participation in sports, music and other activities. It helps develop life skills such as responsibility, adaptability, and respect.
