WFUNA International Model UN (WIMUN), Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC), Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA) and World Scholar's Cup are part of CPS Global School's academic simulations, developing global leadership and public-speaking skills. World Scholar's Cup features four events—Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar's Challenge, and Scholar's Bowl—with many teams invited to the Yale University Tournament of Champions. FutureSake is a youth-centred program around Sustainable Habitats, engaging students in research, travel, case studies and hands-on projects. Student-led clubs span Literary, Enviro, Math, Language, Art, Theatre, Photography, Debate, Coding, Robotics, Animation, MUN, Law, SEEDS, Financial Literacy, SDG and Interact, and they plan events with minimal facilitator guidance.
Art Education celebrates students' artistic talents through musical ensembles, art exhibitions, original plays, dance performances, musical bands and school choirs. Drama & Theatre is tailor-made and delivered by Helen O' Grady International, with theatre productions showcased by each segment once a year. Senior students participate in bold dance moves and choreograph routines across contemporary, jazz, hip hop and salsa, and may include yoga, martial arts and gymnastics. A Design Studio provides space for students to create their own projects and express themselves.
Language Club is one of CPS Global School's many student-led clubs. Cambridge Global Perspectives is offered at the lower secondary level to develop critical thinking, research, reflection and collaboration and to understand cultures around the world in an authentic way. World Scholar's Cup involves topics across science, literature and social studies, fostering cross-cultural learning. Inter-school CPS Global MUN (CGMUN) is hosted annually by core student-led committees.

Club Secretaries are democratically elected and clubs are typically limited to two per student in Grade 6 and above. Sports & Wellness provide opportunities to play one indoor and one outdoor game each year, with outdoor options such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics, Archery and Skating, and indoor options like Taekwondo/Karate, Badminton, Chess, Carrom and Table Tennis.
The school offers the International Award for Young People (IAYP) with Bronze, Silver and Gold levels for students aged 14 to 25, featuring Skills, Service, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. The YES Centre enables CPS Global School to deliver IAYP and guide non-formal education that promotes self-development and community service. The program supports voluntary service and personal growth, and CPS Global has received recognition for its SDG commitments and social impact. IAYP activities foster self-discovery, independence and responsibility through community projects.
Leadership development is woven into school life, with lower secondary students encouraged to participate in WIMUN, World Scholar's Cup, Harvard Model Congress Asia, ILMUNC, Futuresake Projects and CGMUN. Student-led clubs are planned and run by students, with club secretaries elected for about one year. The school prepares students for external certifications such as Trinity Exams, Cambridge English Assessments, the U.S. College Board suite of assessments, DELF/DALF and national and international Olympiads. Cambridge Global Perspectives supports global awareness and transferable skills through culture and inquiry.
Sports & Wellness includes outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics, Archery and Skating, and indoor options like Taekwondo/ Karate, Badminton, Chess, Carrom and Table Tennis. Outdoor learning provides field trips and experiential experiences, including service-learning opportunities across age groups. Lifeskill Lessons aim to build social relationships, reflective thinking, open-mindedness and mindful learning. Drama, theatre and design projects support holistic development and personal well-being.
CPS Global School in Chennai offers Cambridge curricula for ages 3–18 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Grades 11–12, with Advanced Placement for 11–12. The Cambridge Early Years framework uses Waterford Early Learning Curriculum for 3–5-year-olds. The 35-acre campus has technology-aided classrooms with smart screens, strong science labs, and robotics, chip programming, and circuit-design activities. Creative spaces include acoustically designed music and drama studios, art studios, and the Atheneum library with digital resources.
