The Elementary and Secondary Schools offer a mix of Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) that are age-appropriate, challenging, and engaging. CCAs, including performing arts, crafts, and sports, are open to all students to help them develop skills, an appreciation of life-long learning, make friends, have fun, learn to work as a member of a team, learn to play fair, and improve self-esteem. CCAs for grades 1-5 and 6-12 are offered in both semesters, and participation supports better health and fitness, stronger physical skills, and increased social interactions.
ISH has annual productions on the outdoor stage featuring acting, choreography, music, props, and costumes. Productions are led by students, with secondary students taking leadership roles and elementary students gaining leadership opportunities in their productions. CCAs include performing arts.
