Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Pastoral care is provided across the Pre-Primary years, with teachers serving as mothers, guides, and mentors to learners. The Pre-Primary environment supports security, belonging, and curiosity as the foundation for learning. As learners move to Primary and Secondary, teachers act as academic partners, fostering independence, responsibility, and self-awareness. An Enrichment Cell runs mentoring and enrichment programs to recognise individual abilities and support learners who may need extra time. The Mind-Body-Soul programme in Secondary balances cognitive and emotional development to support university preparation.

Mental Wellbeing

Pastoral care is provided across the school, with teachers serving as caregivers and mentors to support learners through growth. The school aims to create a secure, happy environment with a sense of belonging that enables learners to explore and challenge themselves. Emotional well-being is included in the safeguarding framework, with procedures to address issues such as bullying and the use of technology. The Mind-Body-Soul programme in Secondary supports balanced intellectual, social, and emotional development, preparing students for university and beyond.

Safeguarding

The Safety and Security policy describes CCTV coverage across spaces and buses with a dedicated vigilance team. Fire safety is addressed with smoke alarms, sprinklers, firefighting equipment, and quarterly Fire Drills; buses have fire extinguishers and are regularly checked. Visitor authentication ensures that visitors are validated and have pre-assigned appointments, and a Learner Information System keeps learner data secure; parents/caretakers must present ID to enter. Staff undergo police verification and mandatory training to recognise and report abuse; an on-campus infirmary is staffed by a nurse with first aid equipment, and Max Healthcare – Nanavati supports medical care with annual checkups for learners. The bus fleet undergoes daily and weekly checks, and staff receive First Aid and CPR training; maintenance and repairs are addressed promptly.
