Optional and other fees
- Examination fees (CBSE / CIE) and certain exam‑related charges are charged in addition to composite fees.
- Other activities, trips, tours, value‑added programmes, certain stationery, costumes and special programmes are charged separately as optional fees.
- Miscellaneous/optional fees (where applicable) are billed either annually or by instalment depending on the activity.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Billing frequency: Annual / Quarterly / Monthly options available; composite fees are commonly paid on a quarterly basis.
- Quarterly due dates: On or before the 10th day of each quarter — 10 April, 10 July, 10 October, 10 January. (Annual payments are due by 30 April with a discount when applicable.)
- Late payment penalty: A daily late fee is applied for overdue payments. (The school's fee schedule specifies the applicable daily late fee.)
- Withdrawal: On withdrawal of a student the current month's fees plus one month's notice fee are payable. Admission fee is non‑refundable and not adjustable. Security deposit is refundable on withdrawal and will be transferred to the bank account provided by the parent.
- Sibling concessions: Discount on admission fee (25% for first sibling, 30% for second sibling), 10% discount on security for siblings and consolidated discount on composite annual fee for siblings.
Refunds and chargeback rules
- Admission fee: Non‑refundable under all circumstances.
- Security deposit: Refundable at time of withdrawal; refund will be processed by electronic transfer to the bank account provided by the parent.
- Fees already paid are not refunded or waived for absence due to sickness, shortened term, early release, unused meals, or for any other cause, except where specifically stated in school policies.
Fee payment methods accepted
- Online card payment through the school's online fee payment gateway and via the Parent Portal / CampusCare app (credit/debit card; OTP authentication).
- RTGS / NEFT bank transfer to the school HDFC savings account (school provides account number and IFSC; parents must email payment details to the school accounts email).
- Payment through the CampusCare portal / mobile app using card payment.
- Cheque / bank draft deposited at the school accounts office (cheques to be drawn in favour of “Kothari International School”; outstation cheques not accepted).
- Bank charges apply for cheque dishonour; the school requests parents to send online payment or bank transfer receipts to the accounts email to ensure timely reconciliation.
