Introduction

AC buses operate on routes across Gurgaon and surrounding areas. Each bus is staffed with a trained driver, a conductor, and a lady transport coordinator during dispersal; a teacher accompanies Primary & Senior students during the evening dispersal. Buses are equipped with CCTV, GPS, a first aid box and other safety features. Curriculum

IB Primary Years Programme is implemented for Nursery to Class V. Cambridge Curriculum is offered for Classes VI to X, alongside ICSE (National Curriculum) for VI to X and ISC for XI to XII. The school is an IB World School with Diploma Programme authorization since 16 March 2009 and Career Programme authorization since 12 March 2024. Higher Education Progression

IB Career Programme includes a CRS with WACP and provides an American High School Diploma recognized by the Florida Department of Education. The school hosts the USA University Fair 2025 connecting Grades IX–XII with representatives from leading US universities. The Indian University Fair 2025 connected senior students with over 40 universities across India. The School hosts international university visits, such as representatives from the School of Visual Arts (SVA), New York, to guide undergraduate admissions and portfolio development.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Scottish High uses a Clan system; a Clan Parent is a teacher who oversees the emotional, physical and overall well-being of tutees. The Clan system aims to develop team spirit and the overall development of the individual. A wide range of clubs and a Student Council support personal growth, public speaking, problem solving and leadership.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Scottish High is an integrated school working toward inclusion of SEN students into the mainstream curriculum. The professionals include Head of the Department, Special Educators, Child Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Audiologist and Occupational Therapist. The student-to-teacher ratio is 2:1, with one Special Educator for every two children with special needs. All students with special needs are mainstreamed. The Integrated department has a Sensory Integration Therapy Room, a Sensory Room, a Speech & Language Room, an Occupational Therapy Room and two Remedial Rooms. The Autism Research Centre is recognized as a SIRO by the Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. Scottish High is a partner with Special Olympics India.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

English is the major language of instruction and communication. ESL (English as a Second Language) is in place for learners from vernacular backgrounds to aid their transition to English. Admission assesses linguistic background to tailor support and ensure learning is not impeded. Sanskrit, French, German and Spanish are offered as third languages from grade four to grade eight.

Mental Wellbeing

The Clan Parent system provides emotional and overall well-being support for learners. A Child Psychologist is part of the SEN team. Pastoral care and structured activities support students' mental wellbeing.

Safeguarding

Buses are tracked with GPS and operated by trained transport coordinators who accompany students. Campus safety includes CCTV cameras throughout the premises and a dedicated CCTV Control Room. Identity cards for students and parents are used, and access by authorized personnel is scrutinized. The school has a fire-fighting system with early warning alarms and smoke alarms, evacuation plans and fire drills, and disaster management systems in place.

Process Of Admission
1. Admission is purely based on seat availability. Siblings of existing students would be given priority. Admission decisions are made on the basis of the required criteria being met.
2. Applicants along with their parents will be invited to school for a document verification process (depending on seat availability). The online document verification process will begin within 3–4 days after registration opens. After this stage, parents will be notified of the next step via email or phone call.
3. Registration can be online or offline. Registration charges are Rs 3000 non-refundable. Online Registration involves filling up the registration form on the school website. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS with an online payment ID and provisional registration number, and you will upload the required documents using that ID.
