Fee Breakdown

Fees
Application / Assessment Fees
- Payment made towards the application form and its processing is non‑refundable.

Admissions / Enrollment Charges (one‑time at acceptance)
- A non‑refundable admission / registration charge is normally required when a place is accepted (third‑party listings indicate an admission/registration component in the range shown below). Examples from recent public listings: Application fee approx INR 15,500; Admission/registration fee approx INR 200,000; other one‑time charges (labelled variously as ‘other fee' or capital/registration levies) reported around INR 85,000. These amounts have been reported by public school listing services.

Tuition fees by year group (annual amounts)
- The school charges recurring tuition on an annual basis; full annual tuition is required and is applied irrespective of the date of admission. Recurring annual tuition, meals, boarding and transportation are subject to annual revision.
- Recent public listings show typical annual tuition amounts for Singapore International School, Mumbai in the following ranges:
- Day student annual tuition: approximately INR 600,000 to INR 700,000 per year.
- Boarding / residential student annual tuition (total boarding package): reported at a similar or higher level than the day tuition; public listings commonly state an all‑in annual figure for boarding in the same ballpark (single‑figure lakhs range). Specific boarding surcharge amounts are not published by the school.
- The school does not publish a public per‑grade or per‑term fee table on its admissions pages; prospective fees for each enrolment year are described as the “progressive fees applicable” and are confirmed in the letter of acceptance. The school states that the letter of acceptance will detail the progressive fees applicable to the child up to Grade 10 and that IB Diploma fees will be charged as per the prevailing fees when entering the Diploma Programme.

Per‑term / instalment detail
- The school's published policy sets tuition as a recurring annual charge and requires payment by the start of the academic year timetable set by the school; the school's publicly posted policy does not publish a standard per‑term amount or published term instalment schedule. Full fees are charged irrespective of the date of admission. Late payment charges apply as noted below.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Recurring annual tuition must be paid by the first week of May for the next academic year. Any payments after that date attract late payment charges of INR 2,500 per week. A student will not be allowed to attend classes for the new academic year without prior payment of the fee.
- Fees need to be paid within seven working days from the date of receipt of the Admission Acceptance Letter.
- The school reserves the right to revise the progressive fee applicable to new admissions each academic year and may revise recurring annual tuition, meals, boarding and transportation by up to 10% year on year (as per published policy). Full fees are charged irrespective of the date of admission.

Boarding fees and inclusions (where applicable)
- Boarding is offered (term boarding, weekly boarding and day boarding options are part of the residential programme). The school states that boarding fees include lodging, recreation activities, laundry, basic toiletries, morning breakfast and dinner. Specific boarding fee amounts or a separate boarding surcharge are not published on the school's public fee policy page. Public listings report overall annual boarding totals within the broad annual fee ranges cited above.

Other recurring and incidental costs
- Meals, transportation and consumables are explicitly excluded from the ‘annual tuition' and are subject to separate charges and annual revision. The annual tuition does not include smart cards, consumables for art/craft/design technology, educational excursions and associated costs, participation in exchange programmes or competitions, exercise and course books, and all footwear.
- Public listings show transport / bus fees reported in the region of INR 100,000–135,000 per year on some listings; however transport is listed separately from tuition and is subject to annual revision.
- Uniforms, examination fees (IGCSE/IB), optional trips, optional external exam fees, and personal equipment are charged separately and are not included in the annual tuition. The school lists these items as excluded from annual tuition.

Security deposit and refunds
- The school collects a refundable security deposit. The security deposit is refundable only if a written withdrawal application is submitted to the Principal by 7 March in the last academic year at SIS; refunds of the security deposit are processed only after completion of the annual audit (after 31 July) and the final settlement of the security deposit is completed within 60 days from deregistration. No mid‑year applications will be entertained for security refunds. If a withdrawal notice is given after 7 March of the running academic year, full academic fees for the following academic year shall have to be paid to obtain clearance for the Transfer/Leaving Certificate.
- The school's published fees policy states that the fees paid to the school are neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstance, and additional withdrawal notice conditions apply for students in Grade 10 and for IB programme discontinuation.

Late payment penalties and non‑payment
- Late payment charges: INR 2,500 per week after the first‑week‑of‑May deadline. Failure to pay by the representative due dates may be taken as an indication that the parents do not intend to pursue admission. The School Leaving Certificate (Transfer Certificate) will be issued only after clearance of all dues.

Fee payment methods / options
- The school's published policy states that fees are payable in Indian rupees (INR) only. The school's published policy indicates payment may be made by demand draft or crossed cheque drawn in favour of “Singapore International School.” Public listings also reference separate enrolment portals for admissions administration. No public statement of credit‑card acceptance or online bank transfer options is published on the school's public fee policy page.

Summary note on publicly available figures
- The school's public fee policy provides detailed rules on payment timing, late fees, refund and withdrawal conditions and what is excluded from the annual tuition, but it does not publish a public per‑grade or per‑term fee schedule. Public school listing services and education directories report recent annual fee figures in the range of INR 600,000–700,000 per year for day students and similar or higher annual totals for boarding students; they also list sample one‑time charges such as application and admission fees. These published listings have been used to report the numeric amounts above where the school's own public pages do not publish grade‑wise or term‑wise breakdowns.

Important: The school's official admissions correspondence (the Admission Acceptance Letter) confirms the exact progressive fees and any one‑time charges for a given child and academic year. The school's fee policy states that that letter contains the formal fee details and progressive schedule for the enrolled year.
