Singapore International School Mumbai sits on an eight-acre campus in Mumbai and offers term, monthly, weekly and day boarding. It operates as a Signature Small School with about 500 students and a teaching faculty of around 110. The staff are handpicked from around the world and India and are mainly residential to support students beyond the classroom. From Kindergarten through Grade 6, learning is anchored in the Singaporean curriculum and integrated with the IB Primary Years Programme via the Reggio Emilia approach. In Grades 7-8, a Pre-IGCSE path leads to IGCSE in Grades 9-10, which culminates in Cambridge examinations, with the IGCSE preparing students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Grades 11-12. The school is governed by a Board of Directors.
The SIS community comprises students from 26 nationalities, with typical class sizes of 20-25 and a 5:1 student-teacher ratio.
