Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school supports social and emotional development through a holistic approach. The Learner Profile and Beliefs & Values framework build social and self-management skills to develop independent learners. Residential Life provides pastoral support with a focus on life-skills, intercultural understanding, tolerance and respect, and opportunities to balance academics with co-curricular activities. The school offers in-house college counselling to support personal growth and future planning.

Singapore International School Mumbai is a signature boarding school on an eight-acre campus in Dahisar, Mumbai, serving students from 0 to 18 with term, weekly, monthly and day boarding. The school combines the Singapore curriculum with the International Baccalaureate framework, delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). In Kindergarten to Grade 6, learning is anchored in the Singaporean curriculum and integrated with the IB PYP through a Reggio Emilia approach. From Grades 7 to 8 students follow a Pre-IGCSE pathway that leads to IGCSE in Grades 9-10, and IBDP in Grades 11-12 prepares students for university study abroad or in India. The eight-acre campus provides spacious classrooms and dedicated facilities for film, pottery, dance and music, along with outdoor courts, playing fields and a swimming pool. The school hosts students from over 26 nationalities and employs around 110 staff worldwide today.
