Stonehill runs the Stonehill Science Bowl, founded in 2018 by Grade 11 science students. It has grown into a signature academic event with both on-campus and international online formats for Senior and Middle School participants. The competition covers Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Stonehill also hosts Technofest, a two-day inter-school competition celebrating coding, making, and racing with events such as Hackathon, Makeathon, and Formula RC car racing.
The Arts form a core part of the IB curriculum at Stonehill. The Arts Centre provides dedicated spaces for Visual Arts, Drama and Music, and learners present and curate through class, grade, and school-wide opportunities. Performances include poetry slams, art exhibitions, dramatic productions, a talent show, choirs and classroom singing. Stonehill supports Visual Arts and Performing Arts in the Diploma Programme, where students can study Theatre and Visual Arts.
Stonehill hosts Model United Nations; the Stonehill students organized the first Stonehill International School Model United Nations (SISMUN), with 70 external students from 6 schools taking part. The IB framework emphasizes multilingualism, with the Middle Years Programme offering two language courses: Language & Literature and Language Acquisition. The school also celebrates culture through events such as Lit Fest and the International Food Fair.
Stonehill's After School Activities (ASA) are grouped into four categories: Technology (Coding, Maker Club, Robotics), Arts (Creative Writing, Dance, Drama), Sports (Football, Horse Riding, Taekwondo) and Service. These ASAs involve both student-led clubs and external providers to broaden engagement. The Embassy International Riding School next door offers riding lessons and Pony Club activities as additional after-school options.
The Service programme is called Stonehill in Action (SIA) and is integrated across the MYP and DP curricula, aligned with the United Nations sustainable development goals. Primary learners showcase action through posters, presentations or community projects, while secondary students undertake service within MYP and CAS and initiate individual projects. Examples of completed SIA projects include community education, murals and local partnerships for social good.
Stonehill recognizes leadership through programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold. The school also hosts leadership- and entrepreneurship-related experiences, including investor panels and trade fairs on campus. The IB Career-related Programme emphasizes internships, internships and hands-on experiences, plus service learning and development of Personal and Professional Skills.
Stonehill participates in BAASC, a Bangalore-area inter-school conference offering athletics, basketball, cricket, football, swimming and volleyball; high school teams even travel to Phuket for the BISP Soccer 7s tournament. The Padukone Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence next door provides access to world-class facilities for Stonehill students and visiting teams. The Embassy International Riding School adjacent to campus offers riding lessons and Pony Club activities as part of after-school options.
Stonehill International School in Bengaluru is an IB World School offering the continuum of IB programs for ages 3–18: PYP, MYP, DP and the Career-related Programme (IBCP).
