Community

Stonehill has a diverse community of learners in Bangalore with students from more than thirty five countries and teachers from over fifteen. The school encourages open channels of communication to help students and their families adapt to their surroundings, and provides ample opportunities for families to get involved and form support groups. The academic year is dotted with formal get-togethers on campus and service-oriented projects which involve meaningful participation with local communities.

Parent-Teacher Association

The Stonehill PTA is a voluntary association of parents formed with the aim of developing a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement. The association welcomes new families and promotes a positive community spirit in the School, supporting the educational experience of all students. Big events they host include the Back to School Barbeque, Diwali Mela, and the International Food Fair (IFF). The Stonehill PTA aligns its activities with the IB Learner Profile, and supports charities through a holistic approach, including the Government School adopted by Stonehill and service learning projects. The PTA also provides resources such as the Stonehill New Family Guide in English and Korean.
