Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Registrations: A newspaper advertisement announcing seat availability may be released three to four months before the academic year. Prospective parents may visit the school on any working day and register their child for admission in the desired class for the coming year. A non-refundable registration fee is charged, and the mere act of registration does not guarantee admission. Admission is subject to testing, interview and the school's rules; only registered candidates are eligible for admission.
2. Admission: After registration, dates for Entrance Test and Interview are notified. Tests for Standard I onwards are four written papers in English, Mathematics, Hindi and General Knowledge, based on the minimal development levels required for the class according to the school syllabi. The interview assesses the congruence of parental views with the School and interprets subject scores in terms of potential, aptitude, personality and other capabilities. The Admission Committee may conduct another test in genuine cases and may reject the application without assigning any reason.
3. Admission Documents: Admission Documents must be carefully studied by parents. Items describing the Rules and Regulations should be retained for the parents' records. Among these documents are Visitors List, Clothing List, Travel Instruction, Medical Certificate and Personal Data form, which must be returned to the School office when the child is handed over to the Housemaster/Housemistress.
