Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Founded in 2000 by Mr. Madanjeet Singh Juneja, The Asian School Dehradun is managed by the Asian Educational Charitable Trust. From its inception, the school has combined a demanding academic program with individualized attention to support holistic growth. Over the years, The Asian School has evolved with modern teaching methods, technology, and experiential learning. The school's heritage rests on the dedication of its faculty and a supportive community of parents and alumni.

Community

The Student Council Community Service Committee conducts year-round service projects and helps plan Service Day; the school also promotes fundraising for local charities and invites student volunteers for Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and local soup kitchens.

The Asian School has a Parent Teacher Association. The Chairperson is Mrs. Ruchi Pradhan Datta and the Coordinator is Mr. Mukesh Nangia. Other members include Surbhi Narula, Yogita Kohli, Sunita Joshi, Puneet Aggarwal, Dr. Archana Silmana, Upma Gupta, Richu Aggarwal, Sandeep Nautiyal, Sunil Raturi, Sagar Bohra, Dr. Ruchika, Dr Neha Behl and Dr Ashoo Arora.
