Academic and Intellectual

TRINS integrates academics with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. In-house Activities include Founder's Day, PYP Carnival, Middle School Project, Parent Evenings, and Student Led Conferences, along with a Science Fair and Math Day. Language Week and clubs develop communication and critical thinking. The Outbound Learning Programme expands learning beyond the classroom with leadership programmes, foreign exchange programmes and field trips, including Exchange Programmes, Field Trips, Student Council, Round Square, Duke of Edinburgh and MUN.

Arts and Creative

Art, Dance and Music are integral parts of the curriculum at TRINS. Students are encouraged to join clubs and participate in co-curricular activities, showcasing talents at assemblies, productions, Founder's Day, Spectra and art competitions. Timetabled Art, Dance and Music run through Grade 8, and Art & Design is offered as a subject in IGCSE, A Levels and the IB Diploma Programme.

Cultural and Language

Celebrations bring festivals from diverse religions and cultures to life through stories, music, dance, food and assemblies. The school marks events such as Children's Day, Halloween, Christmas and Onam. Language Week is an in-house activity that highlights languages and cultural exchange.

Social and Hobbies

Students join clubs and participate in a variety of social and hobby activities. In-house Activities include Clubs and Language Week, fostering social interaction and creative expression. Boarding leisure includes recreation rooms with table tennis, chess and carom, and activities such as trekking, drama, dance, sports and music.

Community and Service

TRINS has a full-fledged social service programme. Grade 11 students visit local government schools weekly to teach English and IT skills. Students donate essentials to the Palliative Care Centre at Chavara and interact with patients. TRINS Broadway is an annual fundraising event, with proceeds supporting charitable causes; PYP Broadway has funded projects such as toilets for Attapadi and wheelchairs for Ward 9, and there are additional initiatives including food fairs, visits to Cheshire Home, plastic collection drives and Onam outreach.

Leadership and Professional

Outbound Learning Programme provides leadership programmes and foreign exchange experiences. It includes Exchange Programmes, Field Trips, Student Council, Round Square, Duke of Edinburgh, MUN, PYP Leadership Camp and MS Leadership Camp, along with INME Camps. These activities help students develop decision-making, responsibility and adaptability.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

TRINS has extensive sporting infrastructure including football fields, a 25-metre pool and a tennis court. Students can choose Football, Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Athletics and Swimming with advanced coaching, plus adventure activities like trekking, rock climbing and river crossing. Boarding facilities include a gym, a swimming pool and recreation rooms with table tennis, chess and carom, plus spaces for yoga and leisure.

Trivandrum International School (TRINS) is a day-cum-boarding campus on a 20-acre site on the outskirts of Trivandrum. The campus blends modern amenities with natural surroundings, including a library, a music room, a splash pool, swimming pool and spacious mess hall. Sports facilities are extensive, with tennis and badminton courts, basketball and football courts, a gym, and international-standard pool, plus recreation rooms for table tennis, chess, carom and a TV lounge. Academically, TRINS offers a blended IB (PYP and DP) and Cambridge programme (Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Levels); ICSE is available in Grades 9 and 10.
