Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The BBS Preschool provides an environment that nurtures life-long learners and focuses on social-emotional and intellectual development. Activities promote positive self-esteem, interactive learning, curiosity and creativity. Seeds' to Sow emphasises nurturing the child's emotional and social growth through teacher-guided learning. Values education, leadership development and life-skills support contribute to social-emotional wellbeing.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

We care for all students, especially those who are academically weak, with remedial classes and pull-out support to help them succeed.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

An integrated English-Mandarin bilingual programme is offered for children aged 2 to 6 years. All core curriculum classes are taught primarily in English, with Mandarin introduced in incremental stages.

Mental Wellbeing

Social-emotional development and life-skills activities support mental wellbeing and resilience. The programme emphasises a safe environment where every child feels valued, with character education and leadership opportunities.

Safeguarding

Safety and welfare are paramount; every child needs to feel safe and their welfare and needs are prioritized.
