Academic and Intellectual

The Extracurricular Curriculum supports academic and intellectual growth through a wide range of clubs and teams. STEM activities include Science Club, Coding, Digital Colouring, Garage Band club, Construction, and Robotic, fostering inquiry and practical problem-solving. Debate and Public Speaking Club, and Young Journalism Club promote critical thinking and communication skills. Language & Literature and related cultural activities complement academic study with opportunities to explore ideas in different languages.

Arts and Creative

Music & Performing Arts offer ensembles and a broad range of instruments and performance opportunities, including Band, Choir, Cello, Clarinet, Electric Guitar, Saxophone, Violin, and traditional Chinese instruments. Dance & Performing Art, Drama & Speech Club, and Film Club expand the performing and cinematic arts. Visual Arts activities cover Painting, Photography, Batik Painting, Calligraphy, Chinese Calligraphy Club, Clay Moulding, Arts & Crafts and related creative projects.

Cultural and Language

Chinese language and culture are emphasized through Chinese Calligraphy Club and Chinese Cultural & Arts Club. Additional language and culture clubs include German Club and Asian Cultural Club, along with Language & Literature activities. Social and Hobbies

A wide range of social and hobby clubs include Baking Club, Board Games, Home Economics Club, Pramuka, Taekwondo, Tai Chi, and Wushu. Societies such as Bethel Campus Ministry and Wall Climbing & Mountaineering offer additional group activities.

Community and Service

Bina Bangsa School Semarang is an international day school in Semarang, Indonesia, delivering a Singapore-based Cambridge education for students aged 1 to 17 in Semarang. The Preschool offers an integrated English–Mandarin bilingual program aligned to the Singapore Kindergarten Curriculum Framework, with core classes taught in English while Mandarin is introduced progressively. In Primary, pupils follow the Cambridge Primary Curriculum with core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia, complemented by Project Work and electives. Secondary combines Singaporean and Cambridge curricula, preparing learners for Cambridge IGCSE examinations through a mix of core and elective subjects, and emphasising character building and leadership. Junior College delivers Cambridge International AS and A Levels for tertiary study worldwide. Since 2017, Smart School and e-learning with iPads support learning, while the campus emphasises field trips, mountaineering and other outdoor pursuits, alongside a student environmental lobby and a strong sustainability focus.
