The school adopted the Singapore Cambridge Curriculum and a robust Chinese Language programme since 2001. The school provides internationally recognized education in Indonesia while keeping families together. After more than 22 years in the education industry, BBS has grown to over 600 staff, 500 teachers, 4,000 students, across six campuses. Bina Bangsa School Semarang is an international day school in Semarang, Indonesia, delivering a Singapore-based Cambridge education for students aged 1 to 17 in Semarang. The Preschool offers an integrated English–Mandarin bilingual program aligned to the Singapore Kindergarten Curriculum Framework, with core classes taught in English while Mandarin is introduced progressively. In Primary, pupils follow the Cambridge Primary Curriculum with core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia, complemented by Project Work and electives. Secondary combines Singaporean and Cambridge curricula, preparing learners for Cambridge IGCSE examinations through a mix of core and elective subjects, and emphasising character building and leadership.
