BINUS SCHOOL Semarang is the latest addition to the BINUS SCHOOL Education family. It is part of the BINA NUSANTARA Group, which was established in 1981 to provide quality education. The school is located at BINUS EDU PARK, POJ Avenue Kav. 3, Semarang. BINUS SCHOOL Semarang was inaugurated on August 18, 2022 and operates within the BINUS School Education network, drawing on the Group's experience in holistic world-class education. English is the medium of instruction across all subjects, with exceptions for national curriculum subjects, local content, and non-English language subjects.
BINUS SCHOOL Semarang describes itself as a community of learners focused on exemplary character, innovative learning, and compassionate leadership. It engages in international partnerships with Hwa Chong Institution (Singapore), Suzhou Foreign Language School (China), Brisbane Grammar School (Australia), and Bugil Academy (South Korea) for teacher development, curriculum enhancement, and student exchanges. The campus hosts cultural and STEM events such as Art Exhibitions, the International Day of Mathematics, and collaborations with cultural institutions like the Museum Gubug Wayang. BINUS SCHOOL Semarang is a private K-12 day school at BINUS EDU PARK, Semarang, in the BINUS School Education network. Opened in 2022, it delivers English-medium instruction across all subjects, with teaching for national curriculum subjects where appropriate. Cambridge Curriculum is taught from Early Years through Upper Secondary, preparing students for Cambridge A Level and AS Level examinations; Grades 9 and 12 also take the national UNBK exams. Cambridge Grouping places core studies in Group A: Mathematics & Sciences; Group B: Languages; Group C: Arts & Humanities. University preparation features include diagnostic tests, career counseling, and a University Fair Day connecting students with overseas universities.
