Dyatmika follows two fully accredited curricula. Cambridge International Programme runs from Primary Prep to Class 12, guiding the English programme and providing a framework for other subject areas. Students take Cambridge IGCSE, AS level and A level examinations, recognised by universities worldwide. From Class 9, Indonesian or dual Indonesian nationality students graduate with both National and Cambridge examination results.
Performing Arts is central to school life, with curriculum Music from Playgroup to Class 12 and Drama taught in the Primary School. The department has a purpose-built faculty with three large classrooms, an acoustic grand piano and multiple music studios, plus a full Gamelan and Balinese Angklung. The ECA programme includes ensembles such as choirs, string groups and bands, with a team of visiting tutors and frequent concerts and performances.
Dyatmika is a bilingual school with English-medium instruction and Indonesian language study. Bahasa Indonesia is taught alongside English, with subject teaching in English as students progress; in High School, Bahasa Indonesia continues to be studied while other subjects are taught in English. From Class 9, the school offers a double award for students with Indonesian/dual nationality, granting both National and Cambridge certificates. The Community Garden and other activities help students engage with Balinese culture.
Dyatmika offers a broad Extracurricular Activities programme that allows students to develop interests across a wide range of areas. The programme complements curriculum lessons and supports student growth beyond academics. Students also benefit from a formal leadership pathway through activities like the Executive Student Council and OSIS.
Dyatmika has a strong, embedded community rooted in Balinese life, with an active Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). The school supports the local community by employing staff from the local Banjar and by engaging with various community, environmental and charity organisations. Regular communications include a bi-monthly newsletter to keep families informed about school and community activities.
The school has two leadership bodies, the Yayasan and the Whole School Executive, under the Dyatmika Sekar Bawana Foundation which governs the school. The Yayasan ensures the vision and standards of education and school operations, while the WSE oversees day-to-day running with international and national academic and administrative staff. Student leadership is cultivated through formal programmes, with peers elected to OSIS and the Executive Student Council.
Physical Education is timetabled from TK to Class 12 as an essential part of the curriculum, promoting leadership and personal development. The school's Extra-Curricular Activities programme provides broad sports opportunities and supports students' physical and mental wellbeing. Dyatmika also maintains a strong reputation in sports and encourages active participation and enjoyment of physical activity.
