Elyon Christian School began with a longing to prepare the young generation to become future leaders in Christ. It opened in 2002 with 43 students and later expanded to West and East Surabaya campuses. The school adopted an international-based curriculum and became a Cambridge International Center in 2010, with ongoing teacher development. In 2014, Elyon partnered with Global Assessment Certificate to offer a globally recognized high-school curriculum, enabling graduates to study at universities worldwide. Since the first alumni graduated in 2016, ECS graduates have gone on to prestigious universities around the world, while the school continues to foster a Christ-centered environment with a global perspective and Biblical values.
The school maintains an Alumni network featuring graduates who have pursued higher education at universities such as the National University of Singapore and National Taipei University of Technology. Alumni profiles include Jason Lienardi and Winston Leonard Prayonggo at the National University of Singapore, and Alvina Vivian Lee at National Taipei University of Technology.
