The campus houses a Science Building, a Primary Library (BCD), a CDI, a canteen, a theatre, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a sports ground, plus health and Vie Scolaire facilities. Exam Results

In 2024 FSJ achieved a 100% pass rate in the Baccalaureate, with 80% passing with honors, and a 100% pass rate in the Diplôme National du Brevet, with 94% passing with honors.

Higher Education Progression

The Baccalaureate provides access to higher education. Parcoursup is the national platform for pre-registration to the first year of higher education in France. The school notes continuity from primary to secondary so students can eventually pursue the Option Internationale du Brevet des collèges and the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI), supporting study in France and internationally.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

FSJ provides a warm, family-like environment with a strong focus on personalized support. The school works with families to support each student in developing their training path and study project. A structure called GAS (Groupe d'Aide et de Soutien) coordinates case-by-case assistance for learning or behavioral needs. The educational team collaborates with parents and the class teacher to tailor arrangements for individual students. The health center and speech therapy services are part of the support framework to assist diverse learners. Regular communication among teachers, the principal, and families monitors progress and well-being.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

FSJ provides formal structures to support students with special educational needs. The GAS is FSJ's referral structure for coordinating such support. The Individualized Welcome Plan (PAI) handles health-related arrangements for students with chronic conditions. The Personalized Education Project (PPS) defines an individualized program for students with disabilities, with involvement from health and education professionals. The Personalised Support Plan (PAP) and the Personalized Educational Success Program (PPRE) address required learning adaptations and skill gaps. Speech therapy is available as part of the support services, coordinated with families and teachers.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

French School Jakarta offers a bilingual French-English program from kindergarten to high school. The teaching team uses the French curriculum established by the French Ministry of Education. The school hosts students from many nationalities, reflecting its international community. Non-French speakers can access French language support through an intensive French language program (FLE) to quickly acquire French and join general classes. The program supports English-language instruction within the bilingual framework.

Mental Wellbeing

The health center provides medical, relational, and psychological support to students. Two nurses run the infirmary and are available daily to promote student health, balance, and integration into the school environment. The health center offers confidential support for students and coordinates with the director to implement PAI and PPS when needed. Staff and families collaborate through the health and safety framework to safeguard student well-being. The health protocol includes measures to maintain safety and well-being across the school day.

Safeguarding

FSJ has safeguarding measures supported by the Health and Safety Commission, overseen by the medical department and the French Embassy's Safety Officer. The infirmary protects students at risk and provides immediate response when needed. The health center collaborates with families, teachers, and the school leadership to implement safeguarding plans through PAI, PPS, PAP, and PPRE. The school follows established protocols for health crises and emergencies and maintains a safe campus environment. The safeguarding framework emphasizes confidentiality and coordinated action to support vulnerable students.
