Global Sevilla Pulomas and Global Sevilla Puri Indah were founded on 6 October 2002 after a 2001 lunch meeting where the founders envisioned a school balancing academic excellence with character-building and community involvement. The founders are Dr. (H.C.) Sudhamek A.W.S., Late Prof. DR. Nurcholish Madjid, and Vincent Jaya Saputra, who lead the school's development. The school's vision is to become the leading K-12 international-standard school with an acknowledged reputation for excellence in character, teaching and learning, and its mission is to nurture global students with character. Core values are Giving, Compassion, and Self-Control, and the school maintains a Peace Zone pledge emphasizing safety and respect for all.
Mindfulness is integrated into the curriculum from kindergarten through high school to support academic excellence, emotional intelligence, and social growth. The Mindfulness Programme brings peace and joy into daily activities and teaches students to be fully present. The school also runs ‘Compassion in Action' and broader community service initiatives, including in-school fundraising, visits to orphanages and old-age homes, and projects such as renovating schools and organizing blood donations with the Red Cross. These activities help build a caring, engaged Global Sevilla community across campuses.
Parents are partners in education, with opportunities to support school programs and events, help monitor home study assignments, and participate in communication and social activities. The school provides opportunities for parents to help with special events and to engage with teachers, including meeting teachers by appointment. Parent-Teacher Meetings occur at least once every three months, and parents can arrange meetings with teachers as needed. Global Sevilla also organizes social events for families, and at the start of each new academic year, a Parents' meeting is held; each class appoints a Class Mom or Class Dad to coordinate communication among parents and with the school.
Global Sevilla Puri Indah is a two-campus international K-12 school established in 2002 that serves expatriate and local families seeking a values-driven education. The school teaches in English and Indonesian, with Mandarin offered as a language, supporting multilingual learning. The curriculum spans early years through Cambridge qualifications: IEYC and IPC in the early years and primary, Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE in grades 9–10, and Cambridge International AS and A Levels in grades 11–12, all delivered by Cambridge Assessment International Education. The school emphasizes character through its core values of Giving, Compassion, and Self-Control, and its Peace Zone pledge for safety and respect.
