Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school emphasizes holistic growth of the student, balancing academic achievement with spiritual growth and social and life skills. The Comprehensive Ichthus Curriculum supports character building and leadership development through projects and presentations. Students are encouraged to take accountability for their learning and are coached to become independent learners. The primary school counselor works with students to increase engagement in class. Teachers differentiate instruction to accommodate different learning styles and talents. Learning extends beyond the classroom with field trips and school-wide events, including talent performances, presentations, quizzes and games.

Safeguarding

The Non-Discriminatory Policy states that Ichthus School Jakarta welcomes students from any nationality, race or religion. It does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender or color. All students are treated equally and are given the same rights and access to the programs and activities offered.
