Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Enquiry or School Visit. Parents may visit the school or contact the School Office for information about programmes and facilities. Complete the Inquiry form to ask questions or arrange a convenient time to visit the campus. Staff respond with available times and follow up to assist with your visit.
2. Arranging the 3-Day Trial. All prospective learners must complete a 3-day trial. A Trial Registration Form is available to register the trial. The Trial Registration Form is linked from the Admissions Procedures page.
3. Enrolment Forms. After the trial, parents complete the required forms: Enrolment Form, Student Health Form, and Permission Form. These forms must be submitted to proceed with enrolment. The forms are accessed via the Admissions Procedures page.
4. School Confirmation. The School Office will confirm the enrolment status once all documents are received. This confirmation indicates whether the learner is enrolled and the next steps for completion. The school coordinates with families to finalize enrolment.
5. Invoice Issued. The Finance Team will send invoices for the registration fee and school fees with a stated due date. Invoices include the amounts and due dates and should be reviewed carefully. Communicate any questions to the Finance Team before the due date.
6. Payment. Parents complete payment before the due date. Payments should be made according to the instructions on the invoice. Timely payment ensures the enrolment process proceeds without delay.
7. Enrolment Completion. Once payment is verified, the learner is officially enrolled. The learner's enrolment is completed and the family receives confirmation. The learner is officially enrolled and can commence attendance.
Jogjakarta Community School (JCS) is a British independent school in Jogjakarta offering the UK Pearson Edexcel curriculum for ages 2 to 18. It operates as an English-medium school with official Pearson Edexcel Examination Centre status (Centre ID 97194), enabling learners to sit official assessments on campus. Founded in 2012 by Yayasan Suluh Semesta to serve Indonesian and expatriate families, JCS is governed by a parent and community-elected Board of Governors and supported by the YSS Trustees. In 2017 the school relocated to a purpose-built campus in northern Jogjakarta; in October 2024 the Multi-Purpose Space opened, and in January 2026 a new Learning Block will open alongside the original Learning Block. The Edexcel curriculum guides Early Years Foundation Stage through Key Stages 1–5, with a UK-style progression and Year Groups. Six Learner Traits—Independent, Resilient, Collaborative, Engaged, Reflective and Creative—shape teaching and learning, alongside a strong emphasis on pastoral care and personal development.
