Billing schedule and payment terms
- The school offers three billing/payment plans: Annual Plan, Half‑Year Plan and Termly Plan; invoices are issued according to the plan chosen.
- Place confirmation requires payment of the Annual Development Levy (ADL) and first tuition instalment as stated in the Offer Letter.
- The ADL is paid for a full year and is pro‑rated by term only when a student joins part‑way through the academic year.
- The invoice will show the payment due date; if tuition remains unpaid after the invoice due date, a late payment penalty of 2% per month will be applied. If tuition remains unpaid after one month, class attendance may be prohibited and grades, transcripts or other records may be withheld.
Boarding
- The school does not operate boarding; fees shown apply to day students.
Other costs and fees (additional to tuition and ADL)
- Additional, separately charged items include: catering/canteen, school uniform, after‑school activities (ASAs) and camps, and examination fees for Secondary students. Specific amounts for these items are charged separately.
Refund information
- The Annual Development Levy (ADL) and the Application Fee are non‑refundable.
- Tuition refunds are considered at the school's discretion and will be considered where evidence is provided that the student is leaving the country; other hardship cases may be considered as required.
Discounts and concessions
- Multi‑Year ADL Discount: Families who pay three or more years' ADL in advance receive a 50% discount on the ADL.
- Family Discount: Second sibling receives 5% off tuition; third sibling and beyond receive 10% off tuition.
- Referral Discount: For each new referred family that enrols for a year, the referring family receives a discount equal to one month's tuition for their youngest child (pro rated if the referred family enrols for less than a year).
Fee payment options
- Bank transfer is accepted. Payment details provided for fee payment include Bank Central Asia (BCA) account details (account name Solusi Edukasi Bangsa PT, BCA account number and SWIFT code as shown on the school's payment form). Proof of payment is submitted via the school's payment confirmation form.
- Payment is confirmed when the required deposit/fees are received as specified in the Offer Letter and the school's invoice.
Brief notes on missing itemisation

New Zealand School Jakarta (NZSJ) is an international school in Kemang, South Jakarta, serving ages 1–18 with a bespoke New Zealand Curriculum (NZC). Early Years follow Te Whāriki; Primary and Secondary use NZC with inquiry-based, holistic learning across English, the Arts, Health and Physical Education, Languages, Mathematics and Science. The school follows a July–June academic year to accommodate international and Indonesian students. Founded in 2002 (originally NZIS), NZSJ earned accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Education in 2019: 93% Primary, 91% Secondary. On campus, facilities include an on-site swimming pool, two large playgrounds, multi-purpose courts, a library, and upgraded Art, Science and Music rooms. After-School Activities span sport (swimming, football, basketball), archery and dance, plus STEM, robotics and coding. A Pre-University Programme in Grades 11–12 offers university pathways. English as an Additional Language is supported; the school hosts a vibrant community with staff and students from multiple nationalities and cultures.
