Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
PSKD Mandiri began in 1994 when five founding families, led by Laurel and George Tahija, established a model Indonesian school. By December 1995, the founders created a non-denominational, not-for-profit vehicle called Perkumpulan Mandiri (the Mandiri Association) to establish, finance and manage educational endeavours. Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri (SPM) began with a Kindergarten and Grade 1 in July 1996/1997 with 25 students, and later expanded to include Elementary through Junior and Senior High, with a Student-Centered and Inquiry-Based approach and a balance between character development and academic achievement through The Leader in Me program. In April 2012, SPM was recognised as the first International Lighthouse School outside the United States for implementing The Leader in Me; on May 30, 2015, PSKD Mandiri transformed into Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri (SPM). The school uses the National and Cambridge Curricula and operates across two campuses in Menteng and Panglima Polim.
SPM's vision is to be a principle-centered school that develops academic excellence and lifelong learning skills in an engaged community. Student Life includes events, clubs and organizations, extracurricular activities, and student support services. The Menteng campus houses the Primary School, while the Panglima Polim campus hosts the Junior and Senior High School, providing a seamless educational journey from Kindergarten through High School.
